Nestled in the La Canada hills, this Spanish Revival transformation embodies the romantic essence of Mediterranean design while honoring Southern California's unique climate. Sacred Space Garden Design crafted a series of enchanting outdoor rooms, each offering its own distinct experience within the cohesive landscape.

At the heart of the design lies a formal garden where classic terra cotta planters anchor each quadrant, surrounding a sculptural ceramic fountain that provides gentle ambient sound. Thoughtfully placed seating areas create moments of respite throughout the property: an intimate gathering space with four chairs tucked among native plantings, a hidden bench offering serene garden views, and a peaceful sitting area beneath the canopy of a mature olive tree.
Meandering flagstone, DG & Dimondia pathways, bordered by drought-tolerant native plants, wind through the property, connecting these carefully curated spaces. Authentic Spanish tile work, beautifully framed by the graceful branches of citrus trees, adds rich architectural detail. The result is a harmonious blend of Mediterranean romance and practical sustainability, where every turn reveals a new opportunity for reflection or conversation.
